My husband and I enjoy watching two serials telecast between 8.30 and 9.30 p.m. on Sony Sab channel. Both have a touch of subtle humour as well as a message to convey which is the importance of team spirit and maintenance of family relationships. Now a new serial titled Sahib, bibiaurboss has commenced which is aired at 10 o clock and watching two episodes was enough to prove how difficult it is to sustain humour for an entire half an hour in order to hold the attention of the viewer. The story is nothing new-a young married woman takes up a job hiding her marital status and her boss, past his prime is besotted with her and goes to ridiculous lengths to win her, with plans of marrying her one day. The sprightly lady tries her best to put him off and finds herself in a predicament –handling two men and keeping her job as well. Meanwhile her husband, a handsome young man joins the company to mend matters but finds himself in a worse situation because the boss’s aunt , an aging spinster falls for him, making a visual display of her feelings towards him.
The acting of the young female is commendable and the serial is worth watching for the story writer’s painstaking efforts in offering in the genre of humour.

Good review but I am a loyal fan of the ‘Colors’ channel, BBC world & English film channels. I have this unenviable “Resistance to Change’ and don’t like too many changes in my life: I want the same wife, same house, same breakfast/lunch/dinner everyday, I don’t like to try new health foods – salads, millets, beans etc., same mattress to sleep on, same old friends, same old park for my constitutional, same old songs of Mukesh, Hemant Kumar, Kishore Kumar, Pat Boone & Andy Williams….Hehe!!
Consistency in everything is a virtue and you seem to be cool with it
