Though we chennaiites have experienced the worst and traumatic days and nights for more than two weeks, however the music and art lovers have all the reason to thank nature for being considerate enough for not disrupting the annual music season. ‘Artistes’ as young as 11 years have been able to make their debut in sabhas known and not so well known .What came as a surprise was for the first time I found high profile caterers of sabha canteens advertising their menu in newspapers with attractive photographs, as evidence of having an edge over their peers.
Rain or shine, life goes on in Chennai, so does the Margazi magic but I wonder if the once patronized sabha canteens by rasikas of food will continue to draw them this year too !Until now attracting food lovers had never been a problem, especially in reputed venues, infact keeping them away was more an issue to the high profile caterers !
