It was a sheer coincidence that I happened to come across nearly half a dozen octogenarians on a single day. They are all celebrities in their own right, still pursuing their passion which perhaps keeps them going despite their age related ailments. However their demeanor showed they were not happy with themselves and were worried about what lay in store for them at the evening of their lives. When I overheard what they were discussing I was pleasantly surprised to find they were more worried about the future of their offspring, (who themselves were past middle age) and their next generation who appeared to be on the cross roads, career wise and in their personal lives. At the end of it all, they bid good bye to each other with a smile, probably feeling they were not alone in this big, bad world!
