I am glad we are becoming aware of the harmful effects of instant/convenient foods and Maggi noodles has joined the fray. It only shows celebrities who endorse a product don’t seem to think twice before doing so. I assume all these people are well educated/informed about the effect on health these instant foods have. If they just take a moment to find out if the product they are endorsing has any harmful effects, they would be doing a great service to society. The product should be first tried with their own children I feel.
All that is advertised should be taken with a pinch of salt as we all know advertising and marketing are mere strategies to lure gullible consumers. But endorsements, especially by reigning or fading film personalities do more harm than good and children’s health is very important as they are the future of our Nation.
